Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Brick Breaker ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our game, available on the web and as a mobile application (Android / iOS).

1. Information We Collect

Account Information (optional)

• Username and password (hashed) — only if you choose to register an account
• Authentication token stored in device local storage

Game Data

• Game save data (score, level, upgrades, currency) — stored locally and synced to our server if logged in
• Leaderboard entries (username + score) — submitted only with your action
• Settings and preferences (SFX, BGM, graphics quality, language)

Automatically Collected Data

• Crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics — device model, OS version, app version, and stack trace at time of crash
• Usage analytics via Firebase Analytics — session duration, screen views, and general in-app events (no personally identifiable information)

2. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

On iOS, we do not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) authorization. Ads are served without user tracking authorization.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and sync game saves across devices
• To diagnose crashes and improve app stability
• To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the game experience
• To serve advertisements that help fund free access to the game

4. Data Storage and Security

Account data and game saves are stored on our server hosted at arrr.at. Passwords are stored as cryptographic hashes and are never stored or transmitted in plain text. Data is transmitted over HTTPS.

Local device data is stored in your browser's localStorage or the app's sandboxed storage and is not accessible by other apps.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

We share data only with the following service providers, strictly for operating the app:

• Google Firebase — crash reporting and analytics
• Google AdMob — in-app advertising

6. Guest Play

You can play Brick Breaker without creating an account. In this case, no account information is collected. Game progress is stored only on your local device and will be lost if you uninstall the app or clear browser data.

7. Children's Privacy

Brick Breaker is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

You may at any time:

• Delete your account — contact us to permanently remove your account and all associated data from our servers
• Clear local data — uninstall the app or clear your browser's localStorage
• Opt out of personalized ads — use your device's ad settings (Google Ad Settings) to opt out of personalized advertising

9. Data Retention

Account data and game saves are retained for as long as your account is active. Crash reports and analytics data are retained according to Google Firebase's default retention policies (90 days for Analytics, 90 days for Crashlytics).

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
